Slight Increase in CTR - worth reporting?

On one of my channels, the CTR increased from about 2% to 4.5%. I'm afraid there might be some invalid clicks but I'm not sure. The number of clicks have more than doubled

Is it worth reporting this to them with the weekend coming up?
What do they usually do in this type of cases?

It depends on what your "double" means...
If you normally have 10 clicks...Then 20 is not worth reporting.

If you use to have 100...maybe 200 without any increase in traffic may be suspicious.

Well the clicks increased from ~ 130 to 300 for this particular channel. For another channel on the same page it's more normal.

The traffic also increased from about 6k to 7k but why would there be such a large increase in clicks?

I think the AdSense service is missing a tracking problem to actually see the IP of people who have clicked on the ads.

I'm also not sure how sometimes when you do indeed have invalid clicks Google doesn't calculate them and it shows $0.00 for them and sometimes it doesn't - why can't it use that same basis in all invalid clicks cases?
