I am creating a website for a friend and have already designed, coded and created an extensive dynamic CMS-style panel around it in PHP. Now, one of the pages contains a menu on the left with categories and products. This is also dynamic but shouldn't be a problem. One of the specific things he requested was that this had some fancy sliding animations. Basically when you load the page you only see the categories and if you click one of them all the products belonging in that category slide down (when clicking a product it reloads the page with some parameters to display the correct product and preferrably it should also remember what category is 'open'). So here comes the problem... I have intermediate to strong knowelegde of HTML and PHP but none whatsoever when it comes to javascript. I've been doing hours of googling and trying but I never even came close to getting it to work so I'm asking for help. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be extremely appriciated
