I'm trying to find a slideshow addon, which uses stickied posts, and takes the featured image from them and resizes it to the sliders size. I've tried most of the addons listed when searching for slider on wordpress, and the majorty of them are for images only, or don't resize correctly. At the moment I'm trying slidedeck, but as my budget does not allow for $79 for the paid version it won't pull from the featured image. The slider is to go at the top of a website, to show the featured articles on a news website. Not for a portfolio/personal blog( which is another reason why most of the ones on wordpresses extend aren't suitable =/). It also doesn't have to be a slideshow as such - something like what Joystiq uses would be fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
