I have a responsive website with a big header image which fully cover the browser width and height and it's display totally fine with tablet & mobile. http://www.aire.hk/ But i would like to change the header to a more interesting slider header: http://www.aire.hk/HTML/ then the display problem occurs. i can't enlarge the header on desktop to cover the browser and it even worse when display on the tablet and mobile. What could i do to solve it? Thanks a lot.
Sweet Hey Zeus H Mary jumped up on Joseph, does that train wreck ever finish loading?!? It's bad enough the massive pointless scripttard "slider" nonsense, but with that many unoptimized images, nothing resembling thumbnails, illegibile fonts, illegible colour contrasts, fixed metric sizes... Do the world a favor and just deep six that ENTIRE site design AND content. 17.5 MEGABYTES spanning 167 separate files? ARE YOU JOKING?!? This is a joke site, right? You meant to post this on April 1? The file count ALONE has a real world average of 32 seconds and a worst case scenario of three minutes in "handshaking" overhead, REGARDLESS of connection speed and separate from the filesizes! NOBODY in their right mind as a visitor to a website is going to wait two freaking minutes for that garbage to load. This is a stunning example of what happens when some "artist" who knows absolutely nothing about accessibility, limitations of the medium, or even the basics of HTML and CSS is allowed to build a website. I say it a lot, but never has the Ellen Ripley approach been more appropriate... Nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure. If you actually care about being "responsive" that should mean you care about usability and accessibility... said site quite plainly has neither.
I probably shouldn't be encouraging you, but I just had to give you a like for the above. Now that is what I call using the English language!
To the OP: If that is what you call RESPONSIVE, then I must reside on a different planet. Over 1 minute to load on a cable connection? You gotta be crazy to call that RESPONSIVE. To Deathshadow: Another like for your colorful language that really says it all.
