SLi and DDR2

    Can you use any type of DDR2 with SLi? Or do you have to use the SLi rated memory (usually the dual channel expensive stuff...) Thanks.

    There is nothing like SLI related memory. SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface which enables you to use two GPU (graphic processing units) or graphic cards at a time.

    You can use any type of memory which is supported by your MB (motherboard). The only difference it will make is the frequency at which it operates.

    ok, but I know that nVidia is now putting an SLi approved sticker on EPP memory, check out SLizone.com. Thanks for the info though, you have been the only one to answer my question.

    Thats another one of those crap ass marketing tricks. Don't fall for it and save your money. Get the best memory at the most affordable price and don't think too much about those stickers ! :D
