It really doesn't make any difference... only visual appearance... no slash looks better.

No slash, it's also easier for visitors to type in a page directly.

NO DIFFERENCE. The server notice those two as one link itself.

This is true, the server sends the same request for both so its doesn't matter. Focus on more important things

There's no difference whether it's a slash or not. You're not going to be affected. Maybe if you'd like a little slash but that's it.

It doesn't matter wether you use slash or not in your site. There's no difference of this two.

I agree that it is useless to focus on such trivial things as OP could have used both and seen it for himself that it does not make any difference in the end result!
They both would end up on the same page....then why really bother which one to use!

    Guys, this is from http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_dir.html

A "trailing slash" redirect is issued when the server receives a request for a URL http://servername/foo/dirname where dirname is a directory. Directories require a trailing slash, so mod_dir issues a redirect to http://servername/foo/dirname/.
    Code (markup):
So I guess by Apache default, if a url is pointed to a directory then it needs a trailing slash.

No slash. A URL with slash means a dictionary.
