Skype or Yahoo - ?

I've been using Skype to call my friends and business contacts in other countries for a while and like their service. I've also got a US phone number for my business using SkypeIn.

A couple of weeks ago I found out Yahoo is offering the same service at a lower price. This made me wonder whether I should switch to Yahoo or continue using Skype. I want to use the best service both for calling computers AND regular phones.

So do you know which one is better? Which one offers a better voice quality, more reliable calls, and so on? Yahoo Messenger with Voice or Skype?

Iam currently at 64kbps in India, so i cannot make a voice calls, though i use skype sometimes when i need to urgently talk to a client, as yahoo is not that clear

 

I like yahoo much more than skype

 

skype has more clearity than yahoo ( as appeared to me ) ..

 

i think it depends more on your internet connection

I have been using Skype and havent tried Yahoo for calls even though i am using the latest version of the messenger. There's also Gizmo Project that lets you call your contacts' home/cell phone for free. (depending on countries) The service is not 100% reliable for me but it works and its free.

 

skype as I haven't tried Yahoo. As a matter a fact, come to think of it I almost never use any Yahoo products anymore (flickr, hotmail) Used them pre-yahoo

 

I am using paid services from yahoo so far those are good

 

None, i love to use MSN & Google talk .

But anyway yahoo is better than skype.

 

skype is better than yahoo but gtalk is the best
