    I have used Skype more than yahoo messenger. I have found Skype handy but I feel Yahoo messenger is lighter than Skype.

    I personally use skype and it is much more better than Yahoo... But in some cases yahoo leads like in mailing and other but skype is good for chating and sharing small files instantly :)

    Obviously skype, YM is filled with bots adding you and then flooding you with spams.
    Skype is clean, only uses one window, unlike that of YM's.
