Hey folks, this is a topic not discussed too often, but might be worth while. I have been looking into Skype VOIP to replace my landline and could save me $35 bucks a month (or more), it appears that Skype has a lot of pros and very few cons from what I can gather. It gets all the features a regular land line gets, caller ID, call waiting and etc... It's only like $96 bucks a year while my home phone is 6+ times more than that. The cons is you can't dial 911 and have to buy the hardware to make it work and the PC has to stay on all the time. Anyone here use Skype or any other VOIP service and can you tell me thoughts on it. I'm always looking to save money! Mucho appreciated.
