    For anyone who uses this free backup utility, how do you upload entire folders instead of one file at a time?

    This could not be possible till today. but if Microsoft makes this tool it will be great news and I think this is the next step MS will take.

    Maybe not possible on Windows but *nix has been able to do this for decades.

    Out of the 25GB free space that Windows Skydrive provides, you can fill up 5GB space as of now using Windows Live Mesh. This desktop utility syncs entire folders too.

    Works on Windows & Mac, kind of like Dropbox but a tad slow in syncing. Still can't complain with free stuff :)

    just open your account and you see your right side skyp drive show just open and see your folder show in this area and you use it

    I found it easier to just go buy a cheap 1TB external and use it as the backup system..But i do use the mesh to upload my pictures and stuff but just find it easier to keep it out of the hands of Big Brother to look at.
