I have 10 niches, each with atleast 10 pages of content. So, will it be better to make 10 sites each with just 10 pages, or just make one site with 100 pages on diverse topics. Which is better for SEO?? Does the size of site matters in determining the rankings? Thanks for helping.
id go for 10 sites so you could get more targeted traffic for each niche. i spose it depends on how similar the niches are too. size dosn't directly affect the rankings, however larger sites usually rank better because they have more content so more chance of people linking to them
Yeah, Even I think so. But if I have a single site:- Easier to get links to one domain, easier to promote one domain, GREAT internal linking. Still...I don't know why but I want to have 10 sites..
Better to make just one site with all your data their in systematic way and good internal linking with all pages. Which is good from SEO point of view and size of site matters in determining the rankings. This way u got nice traffic on site and easily ranking in SERP's.
But you see..The risk also increase.. Suppose you are earning a hell lot from the site, and the site gets banned in the search engines or adsense, then ALL your revenue becomes NIL And if you have 10 sites, the risk is spread over... This is why I am not being able to decide..
As long as you are posting quality content, then 10 articles for 10 sites each site is better than 1 site with 100 articles, no bs, if you find something that works, repeat it over and over and over until it doesnt work anymore.
still all your revenue will be gone if any of your sites got banned. your using 1 adsense account. i would go for 10 in 1 site. easier for me to maintain on 1 website. thats what im currently doing. stocks, finance, insurance, credit cards in my blog. but im not sure how it will affect the SEO
If your niche's are unrelated I would say that seperating them would be better for SEO. However, you would have to make each site functional and informative. quality above quantity... always.
After looking at all the comments, I be inclined to say I'm still undecided, except that ten sites would be a lot of work. Perhaps it would be better to get one site up and doing well and then get the next one. That way you could focus better.
