    Lack of hits is killing my forum in short time.

    ...I already do that, Niko. I have a programmer I hired already, saying he's doing SEO as well for me and nothing is changing.

    If 5 or 6 RELEVANT pr 5 backlinks are not enough, {in addition to thousands of lower level links} what would you say is enough? And if PR doesn't matter and only relevancy matters then why aren't the thousands of backlinks doing anything?

    I know it is a good site, and unless we are at #1 again very soon, like within another month or so, it will not survive.

    I have exhausted my credit card with hiring programmers and placing advertisements. I'm out of money...spent hundreds so far with nothing to show for it. I don't know what else to do.

    I can build it all I want. If people don't know it's there, they won't come.

    Don't worry just because you aren't seeing results now doesn't mean you won't reap the rewards from you work a few months down the road. SEO work is aggravating and takes time and effort. All of the work you put in, youtube, submitting articles, building backlinks, etc. are exactly what I've been doing on all of my previous sites. I just wish I weren't so busy I could do more work!

    May I ask how much traffic are you pretending to receive through google in these 6 weeks?. It's all relative, but of course, cant expect to get 100k of unique visitors in 6 weeks from google alone

    I am not pretending anything. Everything I am saying here is true. I wouldn't waste time lying about my site failing if it wasn't, I'd be happily over there handling the normal traffic level :p

    We used to get around 15 signups a day before we moved. That was when we were #1 on google for all our main keywords.

    Now, we are lucky to get 5 a day...very lucky. Usually around 3 or 4. The spam accounts however still show up. Those aren't real people.

    We used to depend on Google for more than 80% of our members finding us.

    Thank you again guys for all your offers of advice and help.
