What is Six Sigma methodology? Is it part of search engine optimization strategy?

Never heard about six sigma methodology.....

 

This is not related to SEO at all..this is process improvement methodology...i.e. automation...reducing manual error using tools to do a repeatable work...very vast topic....for sure it is not related to SEO at all...

 

this is not for SEO.

it's a standard for manufacturing Industry.very tough for achieving this standard.mainly used for reducing errors from the process.

six sigma methodology is process improvement methodology, the basic concept is through DMAIC (Define, measure, analyse, improve, control), total 5 step. In DMAIC, it might involve some six sigma tools to give clear direction of improvement and tell you the possibility of the result

 

I am never listen that words Six Sigma in SEO field.

Bascialy this team used in TQM.It's all about quality of a paroduct or a buisness

 

Six sigma is more on quality control but the six sigma methodology can actually apply to any other filed including SEO.

 

Very good definition. Now, what is the relationship with SEO? The best way to perform SEO is by following a methodical process. So a good way would be to define a process to improve SERP, follow such process, start measuring the results of this process, analyze the results, tweak (improve) the process to get better results and control periodically that you are progressing. Most good SEO experts do this when performing SEO, but probably not in a systematic way.

I've been doing process optimization since 1986, and it works for ANYTHING (except perhaps for love ). You want results? Make sure you follow a process, and DMAIC is critical to continue improving your process and your results. You will be far more efficient and your results will be far more consistent. Now, apart from six sigma there are other methodologies for process improvement. I recall that in the early nineties we had this craze about the CMM (later CMMI). And to reach the upper maturity (and efficiency) levels the very first thing you needed to do is define the processes, and then start to improve them. And believe me, guys: It works!

 

Generally six sigma method is using in process&automation industries. Meaning of six sigma means take your process from 1sigma to 6sigma.at the level of 6sigma your defect is very very low.
in term of seo by using the white hat seo you will try to reach from 1sigma to 6sigma means try to reach at perfect SEOlevel
