Six months BAN for?

Hi Digitalpoint,

I got a 6 MONTH ban for creating a thread. The reason says "Post Spamming". FYI, I created a thread at this site after almost 15 days. Its just that when I create a thread (in BST forum), it is usually the same title and content as the previous one so I guess the MOD got confused due to the "Similar threads" showing my older threads. I never even create 2 threads/posts in a week.

Please do look into it. I think somebody by mistake gave me a 6 month ban, I mean its too much, and I am certainly not a professional spammer lol. I had 70 clean itrades as well and it was a 2 year old account.

Thanks, please let me know if I can PM somebody my previous username for the unban OR atleast a smaller duration ban. If same titles/content of posts is a problem, I'll take care of it in future. Thanks again!

 

Yes, I understand. But that is what I meant, I never spammed.

I hardly create 1 thread/post in a week, with 0 external links.

 

The moderator gave you spam infractions for posting 12 duplicate threads in 3 weeks for "Links on Tech and Webmasters Forum", webwizzy.

edit: and I just deleted 6 more...um, yes, that's banworthy dude. Other people get six month bans for a single spammy post.

 

But sir, this is really a mistake this time. I had 490 around posts in the forum with 70 itrades. My post/thread had NOTHING which could be treated as SPAM. It was a simple thread related to selling links at my site.

The reason I could have got that BAN was probably due to MOD looking at the "SIMILAR THREADS" and found my other threads with same title and content. But I definitely never meant to spam. If you would look at my threads, you would really understand.

 

Firstly, Thanks for re-opening the thread.
Secondly, I have a Question about thread with similar title and similar content. I flip sites on DP and have sales letter template which I edit a little bit and post it. They are not duplicate threads as all of them are for different sites and the content and title are different/customized.
Am I doing anything wrong here?

And btw, why are you treating genuine people like this? I know its not allowed to create another account at DP, but I am NEVER going to use it, I created it specifically to clear my doubts. The mod is going crazy and is giving me infractions one after another, total misuse of power sadly.

Anyway, looks like you people don't like questioning so I guess I'll prefer to wait for 6 months.

Liar? Can't believe YOU are saying it. Its like hiding behind one checkbox. You are blocking people's accounts immediately for 6 whole months, no warnings no nothing, not even giving them a chance to explain the situation despite of knowing that many people are on the web because this site exists and how important it could be. Unless one is not a human being, he is bound to register back to explain the problem. Its very normal.

I appreciate you taking time to post a screenshot of the problem, but I already explained this in my very 1st post in this thread. I used to copy and paste the content of my post, because it is not suppose to change. Some of them even differ a bit in content and the niche I am selling link for and they are made over a span of time, not in a day.

If I bump the same thread, than thats a problem. If I create a new thread, than thats a problem. What is one suppose to do then in a swarm of thousands of threads? I always took care to create my thread only when it was pushed to 5th or 6th page, and you can see that.

Anyway, I see my account's been banned for 1-2 years lol, I doubt I'd be alive by then. Why not completely delete it please, it contains my main email.
