Hi I have a few hundred sitewide links pointing to my site that I want removed. I have contacted the webmaster many times by e-mail, web form and telephone but to no avail. Should I disavow this domain in GWT and let google know what I have done to try and get this link removed. Would do this in the disavow txt file as I havent had any manual warnings so a reconsideration request would not be appropriate. So good idea or not?
Yes, you can use disavow for this purpose but remember that disavow tool is only for request, it is not guaranteed that links would be removed. You can do other things is neutralize the effect by building more links varying anchor text... but you have to do it with quality.
