Sitewide linking with rel=nofollow tag

I have a new site and I plan to link to it from my network of sites, The new site and my older network of sites are not in the same theme/topic.

The purpose is only to generate traffic to the new site, I have no intention to pass PR to the new site and will use rel=nofollow tag.

The link will be sitewide linking from my network of sites with thousand of pages.
Will my network of sites and the new site get penalized for this?. The new site and my network of sites all share same ip address.

    Thx!:)

No way you can get penalized for it!

I have seen few sites on the same ip having the same PR and not getting PR!

You should be fine especially if you use the nofollow.

With "nofollow" you can link to anything, like Mr. Cutts is linking to a blackhat seo site using the tag...
