Does anyone know services that will find pirated content on sites linking to rapidshare, depositfiles and send DMCA notices on my behalf?

I'm looking for affordable companies that do this

    Hi

We can help you with this. We have assisted around 42 clients in fiinding & having removed priated/licensed product downloads from Rapidshare and other such free file sharing websites.

While there can never be a 100% removal of all files (becuase people npost new downloads daily) we strive to perform daily or weekly searches and take downs of your copyrighted files.

We can supply a report of the exact download url of your pirated products along with a copy and date of the DMCA removal notice we can issue.

What is your budget on a 'per removal' basis?

It takes time, effort & co-ordination to perform this service and provide you with detailed reports,

I am sure we can work something out but I need to know if you have a realistic budget or not before we go any further

    Thanks

OK, this approach probably works. However, I would be more interested in those who use such "stolen" stuff and would try to make business with them. There are a lot of users that would NEVER buy your product. Mainly because it is too expensive or they are just curious.

For example, your super product costs $2000. Somebody cracks it and uploads it to Rapidshare.
If you find a user that knows what your product is and how to use it but is not interested in buying it you can still make a good deal with him.
If you can conclude with some certainty that this product will not be used commercially you could offer it for some symbolic amount like $25 or better free - with license. Of course, for exchange the poor user will have to promote your product. He has friends, his friends have friends.... Some will speak about your company, mention your approach,....
You loose nothing with such approach but you could attract some new customers.

    Conclusion: You both win!
