Sites/people that offer paid links?

    Hi,

I've got some foundations down with SEO on my site. But, I now need a good number of links to help me position higher in google. Does anyone know a site or person offering lots of low cost links? I was talking to someone a while back who bought a few thousand links for a few hundred dollars, and his website is now PR5 - considering his site is less than a year old I'd say that's pretty good

    Thanks,

    Lee.

I think you should ask him where he bought them and buy there. If he talking it was a good deal and he is happy about results, then you need to go for there and not search anymore. However I highly doubt that were a good links for such price.

You could also try DP buy sell and trade forums, and exchange/buy links there ;)

You can typically get to PR3 with just directory submissions if PR is all you're looking for.

But, I would recommend article creation as well. Because it serves a natural purpose. You can add articles/content to your website which keeps the googlebot happy. As well as submit to article directories. If you paid $100 to get 10 articles written, added them to your website once a week until done, and submitted them to article directories. You'd get your PR5 and for a lot less than buying the links. Plus you'd be giving google what they want.

Hmmm very interesting. Thanks for that guys.

MarcRoman: Would you be able to give an estimate for a good PR if I were to act on the advice you gave me?

Also, I've just heard about this "sandbox" position. Apparently, it takes a lot longer to see SEO changes if you're going against even moderate competition?
