I have a couple sites I recently started ( about a month ago ) and they still aren't indexed in Google. Normally it will take them maybe a week to get indexed for me. can I check somewhere to see if the IP/domain got banned or how can I check to see why they aren't being indexed?
None of the pages have been indexed for all the domain. I have 2 sites that were recently added on the domain and nothing shows up for it. Not sure why Google isn't indexing them. Where's the sandbox I can check or is there a 'banned' website list I can make sure that I'm not on?
4-5 Links sometimes isnt enough for fresh/expired domains. I acctually had a site not being able to get cached (main page) for 2 weeks after about 50+ solid links with several PR6's. I kept going at the linking regardless and 1 month has passed and it got indexed fully. Sometimes google takes its time crawling/indexing other times I can get new websites in by the next morning. Sandbox has nothing to do with this issue as its a ranking theory not indexing. It's not banned thats for sure. If you asking this question its probably more of less better then many sites that should be banned and are in google.
Very weird. I even submitted my sitemap to the google webmasters section under my account. I guess I'll just wait it out and keep writing content and let it pick up in due time....
Get more links as well. Don't bother too much with this sitemap stuff as links can do a greater job in indexing then it can.
I've heard that bringing a site's PR too high too fast and tip off SE's that it's a bad thing. is building up a PR too fast a bad thing? I could bring a site from a 0 to a 7 in the matter of 3 months if I wanted to, it's just the matter of if I choose to do so or not....I don't want to get a site banned because it gets built too fast.....thoughts?
We aren't trying to build PageRank here. We are trying to get back-links for ranking. There are several theories that say too many links at once is a negative thing. However, thats not true in many cases. Let's say a new product was released and there is hype, the product website would get many backlinks correct? From expirience this theory is true when people just build a website and slap the co-op network on it and then cry about ranking falling. If you start getting strong links back to you its a positive. Make sure they are static though and good clean sources and google will love it as any other engine. If you can bring a website to PR7 in the first 3 months there is nothing wrong with that, its a good thing as it shows you have good PR websites linking to you and those websites are probably in good terms of link popularity themselves which will get you more benifits from spider hits to ranking. Page Rank isnt a must for good ranking, however it comes in as a reflection on links. Never worry about building links too fast, thats never a real problem.
