I've tried infobarrel, though not enough to see if results are worth further effort.

qondio.com is fairly similar to Squidoo and Hubpages. You can get a PR 7 front page link from this one.

Click on “Edit Profile”
There is a space to add our website but this is a no follow link (not counted as a
backlink). BUT, if you edit the “About Me” section you can add your website and
anchor text and get a backlink..

2. StatCounter.com (PR8) –
statcounter is a popular website tracking tool.
Here, just get a backlink from the statcounter forum.
Visit the Statcounter Forum and register
Login and click on your username, then click on “user cpanel“ and then on “edit your
details”
Enter your website URL in the “Your Home Page” box
Scroll down and click “Save Changes”
If you can make a post in the statcounter forum as well this will help to get your
profile page indexed more quickly, but you do not have to do this. If you do, make
sure that your post is useful and either respond to someone’s comment or ask a
question related to statcounter.

3. eHow.com (PR 7)
click the “Join Now” button on the top right
Fill in the form and click “Register Now”
Login using your username and password and click “Edit Profile”
Fill in as many details as you want to but make sure that you put your website URL in
the “Web Site” box and also write a sentence or two in the “About Me Box”
When you fill in the “About Me” box include your website URL with your keywords
in the anchor text .

I have been use it for a while. Easy to setup and many useful widgets.

Hi All,

I was searching for sites like you have mentioned in this thread and thought i would add another to the list.

There is a new one named SirGo. Web address is, you guessed it, www.sirgo.com.

I haven't tried some of the other sites that are listed here. I have found Squidoo to be really busy these days and I am looking for some start ups. While I found the one I mentioned above, I am wondering what others people are finding are picked up quickly by the search engines.

 

I like blogger, wordpress and ehow for this.

Zujava is a new site that has just launched.

 

I know one very good site, it is a article directories but it is very good and strict, those really want to give value to search engine user than Streetarticles.com is very good site to submit your content and get very good backlink from growing authority website..I can say better than hubpages and so on...I hope this helps..
