Guys, How do you calculate the value of a site? Do you take the monthly revenue into consideration only? What about he URL? what about the age of the domain. the market, the Page Rank and Alexa, what about the number of indexed pages and incoming links? Im looking for the winning formula Thanks
As a buyer I would say monthly revenue x 10, gives an accurate valuation. You can have 1000s of visitors per day but without revenue it's not worth much. Alexas is to easy to manipulate ( just buy a truck load of visitors from Asia for a few bucks) so I never take this into consideration. Actually what I am saying is if everything needs to be genuine. This is rarely the case. This applies to Pagerank, domain age. So in conclusion rely on your gut. I guess this is the long winded version of caveat emptor (buyer beware).
