Sites cached twice...with and without www

    Has this been discussed before?

One of my index pages is cached with and without the www using the site:example.com command.

Out of all of the results, none of them have the date they were last viewed by the Gbot...

however, when I use site:www.example.com I get less results (normal) but now it has the last cache date...

Am I losing it, or is this strange to anyone else that my index page is cached twice?

Having a WWW version and Non-WWW version indexed is not uncommon at all. You might consider redirecting, via 301, one version to the other.
