It is pretty funny that it's alway the people that hide their sites, that want to know the most about other peoples...

Same thing every time - bless

Just a shame that people do not understand that some members make money over the net ( not AdSense )

In most cases I'd agree with you, speculating on myriad of retarded possiblities is an idiotic excercise in futility. I wore black boxers yesterday, and blue today, and ate some friggin' Indian food. No shit, I really did. And my pants used to be high up, now they are sagging all low. And then some dude who excels at smartassery posts a nonanswer to a question well within the parameters of a noticeable pattern that we are discussing. It must be that damn curry.

Thank you! Maybe Fryman is right, I decided to wear white underwear with my ex-wife's name printed on the back.

I agree that their are many reasons a site can get banned. I am trying to find out why in my case. If we look back at the Google patent their are many reasons one might suspect artficial linking, advertising or whatever you want to call it to be an issue. If this was an advertising network I am with many others that say *advertising shouldn't be on the footer in tiny text*.

I don't use DP coop and haven't for over a year, however I did make a contribution towards the hardware.

I have been using LV and the theme of their forum threads are god damn identical to this one. To me it's not rocket science to assume that something is up with all networks. If the fact that I don't use DP COOP anymore makes me and unwanted visitor here please tell me and I'll stop posting. My reasons for reading and trying to contribute here are simply trying to fit pieces together. Absolutely nothing personal :).

    Appreciate your reply

    The site in your profile?

*It is pretty funny that it's alway the people that hide their sites, that want to know the most about other peoples...*

Good try, if you made any effort you'd find my site easily enough, I just don't want it in my profile on this site ;-)

Glengara what terms does your site rank for?

I hardly think that a because a site doesn't rank for "competitve" terms its penalized. What if the site ranks for tons of little terms?

I think that speaks to the point that traffic matters. Read those logs!

Hold on a minute, that site was "put up" as an example of a site un-affected by having the COOP ads on it.

I pointed out how G seems to dislike it, and asked what terms it was ranking for, to which answer came there none.

If I made similar claims, you'd be looking for similar answers...

You incorrectly pointed out the G seems to dislike it. Don't forget that part ;). Any who, who cares. Lets drop my site as an example since you don't believe me. Fishing Forums offered up another example of a site that uses the coop and is not banned by Google. So I guess that is proof that Google is not banning people strictly for using the coop, right? :)

What do you think about non competitives such as "my unique publication name in my region"? Especially when the serps are now showing articles written about us in local media outlets (one as recent as june 30th), our damn myspace profile, an old dev subdomain that has been 404 for a year or so (I finally got the domain owner to 301 redirect yesterday, so we'll see what happens with that), and the fact that our site has been around and ranking #1 for said terms since for 6 years. That kind of reeks of penalty.

Competive terms be damned, my own friends who use my site often query google for our publication name (due to being too late to register the most obvious domain name) have been calling me up saying "Dude, Bastardo, I was trying to use your site today. How come I can't find it? Am I that inept?" To which I have to respond, "Sorry man, I am an asshole and a poor excuse for a webmaster. I played loose and tried to manipulate an advertising tool to help promote my other websites and google nuked me. Either that or google just doesn't like me because ate some delicious lean bacon this morning while muttering about how I think otters are the meanest bastards in the sea. Take your pick. I'd say the latter myself, because I'm stupid that way."

No No and No! The subject is discounted/penalized in the SERPs. Not banned.

    Don't cloud the issue.

    Another asteriks. ;)

Okay, well, my site and Fishing Forums site have not been discounted/penalized in the SERPS. How much more proof is needed before the coop stops being blamed for certain websites shortcomings? :)

That was a question I posed a little while ago. I noticed you have yours labeled as "advertisements" and you are apparently not having any problems.

I did notice Fishing Forums did not have them labeled. A google query for "sea fishing" is showing seafishingonline.com at 60-70. Was this a slip from a higher position, or have you always been positioned here? Or am I just blind?

Neither have mine. Still have top rankings. If you use the Coop as an advertising tool and not a seo one you should have no problems at all. I do link exchanges, promote my sites and add content all the time. Coop or no coop I still rank without problems.

And what's with that guy and all his asterisks? Can someone teach him how to use a forum and quote phrases?

*You incorrectly pointed out the G seems to dislike it.*

Your search - related:www.lalalingerie.com/ - did not match any documents.

    Results 61 - 61 of about 104 for "www.lalalingerie.com".

    Results 1 - 6 of about 883 from www.lalalingerie.com

Your search - link:VaL41ZS8I7IJ:www.lalalingerie.com/ - did not match any documents.

If you think that's Google love, I'd suggest you ask Shawn....

I honestly think it makes no difference. Do you think that Google would really care enough to make up some algo that gave advertisements the thumbs if the word "advertisements" or "sponsors" was in some sort of close proximity to the ads? Highly unlikely in my opinion. :)

I'm certainly not blaming the coop itself, I'm blaming the way I used it, and it does appear that google nailed myself and others as a result of what we were doing.

So you are talking about blue underwear after all?

I'll get right on that . Apparently you missed the part where I told you that the site was recently moved from hustlerpanties.com. Oh yeah, and you also missed the part where I told you that G sends 5,000+ people a week to that site. Since you have no idea what you're talking about and you have no interest in learning, how about you quit trolling. Thanks! :)

No it's not the one in my profile.
My case as well. Top ten for a highly competetive terms for 5-6 years. I can respect those that are suggesting that doesn't mean a penalty, at the same time I disagree...not ranking for any of your terms= 0 SE traffic and also strongly influences AS earnings (if you use it as a revenue stream). That signifies a penalty to me ;).

YES, YES that's what I am seeing. What I am also seeing (a few cases) all internal pages PR0 while the home page maintains its PR on the penalized site. By site: command it appears fully indexed.

    Regards,

    H
