    i'm confused. if they say affiliate next to them is it still the domain only?

    Yes -- they just have a URL-forwarding using an affiliate ID link (mostly from Clickbank).
    So you can signup at Clickbank and promote the products with a nice landing-domain but no need to maintain a site.
