SitePoint's, NO Good, DP is the Best

A lot of people continue to use it - Sitepoint attracts a different audience like I've stated before. Sitepoint's marketplace is better for the sellers.

 

Site point market is good for site selling in comparison to DP.when you try to sell site for say $xxxx people here genrally say tht you should sell it at site point.

Exactly their is no comparison between the two

 

Even I have search lot of other forums but didn't find any alternative of DP

I would have to agree with the ruling. You're linking to a site that you make money off of. If this was allowed the forums would be overrun with "here just go to my site with my adwords and read the article!".

 

I use sitepoint for almost 2 months but I don't like it.
Dp is the best

Sitepoint if you are selling high priced websites

and

DP for everything else. You cant beat DP for an active community.

 

Well alot of transactions take place on DP and alot of the other forums too.

Actually were debating in making a marketplace similar to Site Point's either as a standalone or plugin.

One thing I did notice is that Site Point hasn't upgraded their software.

There running a much older much more resource intensive version of vbulletin, and I guess that's why I experience extremely slow page loads there.

 

I did register at sitepoint before, but they are not as interesting or as addictive as DP

 

We're running 3.6.4

DP is running 3.6.7

I don't think there's any major performance improvements between the versions?

 

They're probably talking about the servers. How many servers are powering Sitepoint?

 

We make fun of sitepoint, awhile wicked fire makes fun of us lol.

But heck I got to say that if you are selling something that costs loads, then the Site Point Market is the place to go.

Wicked fire isn't as big as DP.

 

They really do, you should read some of their conversation.


The member number doesn't mean anything. They have really quality members there. I mean that you won't get some bullshit answer there, you can really learn something there. Most of the members there are into affiliate and make easily over 3 grand profit a day, and I mean MOST of the regular members.

 

That's because affiliate marketing is much more profitable than Adsense + ypn

 

That's not the point. On this forum, when someone posts that they made $1k in gross today in affiliate, everyone gets all anxious and their eyeballs fall out. Over there, its very common.
