Okay, here's the project: I need a mashup of the following... - Digg/Voting Feature (with subcategories or expandable over several subdomains) - Sitepoint Marketplace/Forum - CMS (for general news, content, blog - NO JOOMLA please) - Must include feature for multiple boxed ads such as adsense or 250x250, 180x150 ads) - Simple easy to understand backend - Ajax end-user experience I'm currently using drigg-code.org for the digg clone feature, but there are limitations (such as the inability to use subcats) that are beyond my expertise and I'm not sure it has what I want. I already have a logo/header to use as inspiration for the overall css theme. This shouldn't be too hard for most of you but I have just run out of ideas for the best scripts/apis to use to create the right mashup. I'm also on the fence about which "base" cms to use so maybe custom coding is in order. I will pay half up front and half when the project is completed. Thanks and happy bidding. I have a soft budget of $200 for the initial work, but don't let it shy you away. Good portfolios with sample work may convince me to go higher. Ultimately, I need someone who'll stay on for a while to make sure things go smoothly (we'll negotiate a retainer budget after the initial site launch). BTW, please PM me with any other details including your abilities, portfolio, etc. Otherwise, you can just do a general reply with your bid. Thanks again!
BTW, I got a few confused PM's - just so it's clear, this is sort of an auction, but lowest bidder doesn't necessarily win. Think of it as a scriptlance project - incidentally, it's posted on SL too, but I wanted more exposure. So, you let me know how much you all are willing to do it for, number of days for delivery and your experience/portfolio. Thanks again.
One more thing: When I said I'd pay half up front, I meant through some form of escrow. (perhaps escrow.com or other suggestions) . . . what's customary on DP for this sort of arrangement anyways? (I'm used to using Scriptlance's escrow feature - maybe I'll have the winning bidder go to scriptlance to "close" the deal in escrow.)
