I lived at the "sell your site" board until those morons started charging 10 bucks and killed it.

Now I just hang around the marketing board. The seo ones suck, full of people without a clue.

Too many "hall monitors" over at SP. Most likely everyone that *finally* gets on the internet, courtesy of AOL, find their way to SP to enlighten the world of their outhouse wisdom.

Over there we can't even talk about banned members, politics, religion, and virgins. :D:D Not to mention they deleted the COOL rep system, and the Off-Topic boards don't like the post count!!

A few weeks ago I changed my user title to look like I was banned (Non-Member), and....they deleted it!!!!! Rumor has it that after you become the Member of the Month there, you get banned. :D:D

The usertitle option is the only thing over there that's better. Shawn, you can change my title to 'King of da Wackos' now!! *hint*

Sitepoint is way better than DP (sorry Shawn)
DigitalPoint has great tools, but the forums here haven't a lot of quality content. No interesting discussions. ;)

I'd disagree that DP hasn't any interesting discussions.

I have visited SP and like the layout but it seems way too cliche. DP isn't an SEO forum, and thats why they are so many different areas of discussion, i.e. programming, general marketing etc.

I like your point wwhomes that DP isn't an SEO forum. I'm a DP convert because of variety of specialties and discussions here. In one week I got answers on a mySQL problem, a PHP issue and advice on how my new office should be wired electrically.

Where else can you getexpert opinions on such a variety of subjects.

DP makes me both laugh and think which is why its a one stop forum for me.

I obviously voted for DP (something tells me the outcome would be different if you asked this same question on SP ;) )

Agreed... kind of a dumb poll if you ask me because it's here. But for the record, SitePoint is my favorite forum outside of this one (I'm a little biased of course).

I like them both. DP is a lot more friendly and personal and relaxed.. but SP has a larger member base and thus you will probably get your problem/question solved quicker.

So, DP is the winner :)

    I couln't agree more.

And also like Fry says the sell your site was great when it was free. It has slowed a bit since they charge but still not too bad.

It's funny if there is one thing I have learned from Shawn's moderation style is let the people speak. Too many mod's that are too mod happy kill it. :)

SitePoint has been mentioned before, but to my knowledge I've never been there. And if Mella doesn't frequent the establishment I don't see why I should bother going there.
