SitePoint Forum Banned Me - WHY?

So you started a thread as a promotion to your virtual Hotel page where you sell advertising, right

 

I wan't banned, I just don't always want to write out a three paragraph to be considered a post.

Fr example, I gave a couple of website reviews, gave some honest recommendations and they were a couple of sentences long. The posts were deleted and I got a PM saying they needed to be longer. Screw 'em.

 

That sucks man, the got on me for posting too much

They are doing a good job.

 

They do a good job at providing advanced information through their publishing arm, that does not mean that the forum is well run!

I had problems with bias members and censorship, I seen gangs form and threads removed for no reason to protect favored companies!

This management tactic is not good for any forum because it denies members important information when management chooses to hide sensitive data from members to protect their friends!

One thing about this forum that is fantastic is the fact that Shawn has let threads stand that have been critical of Digital Point forums and himself too when members have insulted him!

That is editorial integrity and a record that you can trust when you read threads here as the history is very accurate!

Sitepoint can't say that.

What is this urgernt need to get unbanned on SP? What exactly are you missing out on by not being a part of the "action" at SP?

 

It is a good forum, sort of like walking through Wal-Mart at times!

I believe the main focus of webmaster forums should be for webmasters to help other wemasters and newbies like myself and make friends along the way...

 

Sitepoint people are helpful and you can learn alot about coding. If it wernt for sitepoint this forum probably wouldnt even exist probably.
