    does anyone use the sitemap zip? is it necessary to link to the sitemap or the zip file, from your pages, or is it enough to submit your sitemap zip file to sitemap account? thanks

    you do not need or really want it to be linked, just submit to google.

    I dont really see the point of the zip file. i personally prefer to have the xml file uploaded to my server

    the way I see it, if you are spending all this time on SEO, why not go all the way.

    i.e. you just spent 10 hours detailing your car, why not take 10 seconds to hang an air freshener to make it smell good.
