I hope this is the right place for this.....

Several months ago, I told G Webmaster Tools that my preferred domain was www.domain.com

    Instead of http://www.domain.com

First of all, was that even the best choice?

Second, Should I also include some 301's in my .htaccess file??

    Thanks in advance...

the choices are www.homeusersecurity.com and homeusersecurity.com

    with and without the www.

and yeah that was a not so subtle plug for my site

    hahahah... good plug.

Yeah, I realized that later, sorry for the confusion.

    I chose to use www.blahblahblah.com

Do I need to add anything to the .htaccess to insure I get all that random link love out there, or will google hash through it by themselves.

There is no need for doing that. Google will automatically update its index and shows all links to blahblahblah.com to www.blahblahblah.com. But I would recommend you to put a .htaccess file with the mod_rewrite rule to acheive the same effect for other search engines too.

And I recommend it too, to have the sum of links for both forms, Higher PageRank. When I wasn't doing that, I had PR3 for a site without www and PR2 for the same site with www.
