I do not know if this is the right place/category to post this question.

Please read and help me.

- I am a site owner and a webmaster. I have posted an article on my website, article about technology. Time comes I have to delete that post and change to other category, BUT the problem is, the deleted post "url" is still in google index and it is showing on my google webmaster tools crawling problem and because I have about 20+ article deleted, now I have 20+ 404 problem showing in my google webmasters tools.

I am so worried that this could affect the rank of my site and also my application in google adsense.

Any help would kindly appreciated.

 

this is not your fault this is google crawler when next time Google Crawler come again than your that url remove from Google directory so beware for the next time ok

In the future I recommed taht you dont delete articles do redirect 301 from them to a article with similure content or to the startpage.

I think this is not the right way to change URL. A page that is cached by Google will remain in Google's database until you fix this problem.

As far as I understand your category was in the URL, you changed the category and URL is also changed. Right? All the link juice associated with the previous URL is lost too.

How To Fix This URL:

Well, to resolve this issue you need to do 301 redirect old URLs to corresponding new URLs. This will not only resolve 404 issues but also transfer the juice to new URLs.

 

You can apply 301 redirect , apart from that you can also place canonical tag, so that Google stop indexing that url...

 

According to me you need to redirect (301) your page to new URLs.

 

Your pages will appear in the search results because of backlinks....
You have to remove these pages from the Google's index. You actually have to remove the cached copy of the page.

You can use Google's removal tool to speed up the process.

I don't think thats the right way to resolve this issue because all the value of back links will be wasted. The best way to resolve this issue is 301ing.

 

Make sure that the page that you have updated gets crawled by Google, the next time you search for it, the old page will not show in the search results rather it will now display the new one.
