Sitemap.xml VS Sitemap.xml.gz - which file would be the better choice?

    Usually sites having large number of pages use the zipped version, Its recommended to use zipped version coz, Google will download it faster than that of the normal .xml sitemaps.



    Don't know about other crawlers, but google support this. !!
