Sitemap.xml or sitemap.xml.gz

    What sitemap do i have to submit to google webmaster tools the sitemap.xml or the compress version sitemap.xml.gz because in this moment I have them both.
    Should I delete de gz version? Or not?

    I think its the xml sitemap for webmaster tools. Thats what i used anyway

    Its depend on your requirement... both way are same you can use only single type of sitemap.. we use gz file type in site map when we have large file url in sitemap...

    Use sitemap plugin for wordpress, if not submit .xml file to Google webmaster tools.

    The sitemap.xml file... the .gz file is just a compressed version that you extract on your webspace.

    You can submit any of sitemap weather sitemap.xml or sitemap.xml.gz there is no change. its only depends on condition if you have large size of urls so you should use sitemap.xml.gz file.
