    Some sitemapper solutions (at least e.g. A1SG) defaults to auto-detect duplicate URLs like you describe and only include one of them (which is most linked/used within the site)

    Maybe your sitemapper solution has an option for that as well, try contact them.

    The best solution would of course be if you implemented either a 301 redirect or canonical meta tag yourself
