Sitemap / SEO question

I'm considering creating a dynamic site map for my site. I've just implemented mod_rewrite on my site so that :

    /tutorials/tutorial.php?item=1 is converted to
    /tutorials/The.name.of.the.tutorial-tutorial1.html

I'd like to create the site map using the new rewritten urls.

Would it hurt or cause problems with search engines if I add a link called "Old-Style Sitemap" (or something like that) that would point to the same sitemap but with the php links ?

I've heared about duplicate content and stuff like that, that's why I ask.

2nd question: would it be appropriate to add under the sitemap a section called Partners or something like that and add links to directories or sites that would link back (to increase page rank and search presence). Could this do some damage ?

    Thanks,
    Marius

If google sees as duplicate content (and in your case it sure will) it will remove the pages from the index.

The best form of rewriting an url is
    /tutorials/The-name-of-the-tutorial-tutorial1.html
    or
    /tutorials/The/name/of/the/tutorial-tutorial1/
