Sitemap Script

I am thinking of adding a site map to my site. Does anyone have any suggestions for a sitemap script? I have about 500 pages and would need it to index both html and php pages. I also would like to be able to remove certain pages from it.

 

For a dynamic site map this script from MetalHead works great.

 

Thanks. I've seen that one but am looking for something that might strip the title tags from the files so as to have good linking text, not just the filename.

 

I looked around a bit and ended up writing my own. It wasn't too difficult to learn how to search directories for files and put up links. Pulling metatag text out for anchor text is more than I was up for though.

 

Have you looked at Xenu's Link Sleuth or Spider Map Creator?

 

If you're interested, there is a version where instead of the "filename" being displayed the "title" of the page is displayed.

 

I also need a sitemap script for my 2500 pages site, but i want when every time i update my site the script automatically update sitemap.

Just go to http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and they do all the work for you.

for sitemap XML files for google you need one of the following :
phpsitemapng
OR
xml-sitemaps
OR
gsitecrawler for sitemap

 

Just use google and type in Google sitemap or sitemap generator and you should find what you are looking for.
