This may sound like a stupid question but on one of my websites,the link "sitemap" which links to my sitemap.html file is the same colour as the bar on which it is placed so it can't be seen.I presume that as long as the sitemap link is linkable,the google crawlers will be able to find it. Thanks
You must be mistaken, I would suggest you to use any 1 of the following or both methods 1- login to google sitemap(http://google.com/webmasters/sitemap) and add your sitemap there manually 2- put "sitemap:<your sitemap url here>" in robots.txt goodluck
