    Sitemap is very important for every website. Naturally, sitemap are used for easier navigation and better visibility for search engines. Aside from that, sitemaps are the one responsible to inform search engines immediately whenever you had made changes for you pages. And search engines will index your pages which have been changes or added as soon as your sites was crawled by search engine bots.
