Sitemap meta inclusion question

    On my XML-sitemap, I have the option of enabling Meta descriptions, is there any benefit of doing this?

    Please let me know.

    What I know about Sitemap.xml is that it is used to inform search engines about pages on your sites that are available for crawling.
    I don't know there is any option of meta descriptions, if there is any option: I don't think it is going to help you in some other manner...:)
