Sitemap made my site be ranked #1? Or...

    Is it just co-incidence.. or how closely my URL is matched to a search? Haha I think im wrong here, probably option 2 up there.. because my site is called www.beukesblog.com & when I search Beukes Blog its #1? Good, or just how close its matched :eek:

    This has nothing to do with sitemaps. It has more to do with the way its optimized. Start learning.

    Sitemaps won't necessarily put you on page 1. I have a lot of sites with sitemaps, most of them aren't on page 1 for highly sought after words.

    Um...if you search for your blog name and it's YOUR name, YEAH of course you'll be ranked #1.

    i think it's not related for your sitemap.

    sitemap is only a list of your web pages.

    but you are saying that you get good serp results
