Sitemap generator help

    HI

    I just created an html sitemap for my site and I also updated my xml sitemap. In all of my site links i changed sitemap.xml to sitemap.html.

    When I submit html sitemap to google it won't take
    next is when i updated my xml sitemap it only generated 4 links out like 20 or so. I tried some other free website as well but same problem....

    Google webmaster tools won't accept HTML sitemaps. Try submit your XML sitemap instead.

    It is hard to help you why your XML sitemaps only contains 4 URLs when you expected 20 if you don't mention your website.

    You could however try contact the developer of the sitemap tool you use and ask! (Probably the best solution.)

    thanks for reply. I went to this other free sitemap generator and it generated all but most of them were title as subdomain
    i don't know why.. i didn't change anything

    I think there is a limit of 4 almost.

    Just try to see your html sitemap file. There might be error in the html file. Just check whether the hyperlink tags are properly inserted in the file.

    Make sure that all 20 links are still live not broken because might have chances that some links may be broken thats why xml generator creating only 4 links.

    I have face the same problem last time.But i have overcome that .I have log-in in Google webmaster tool and create from there my html site map.After that i have submit that.

    none if the links are broken. I have remove the html sitemap. Sinece I created the html sitemap iam getting very low traffic 99% of traffic is search engine.. any advice why this happened

    how about try to choose a sitemap tool to have a new try, maybe it can help you solve your problem easily.
