sitemap for PHP directories do they have them

    I just recently bought a site. It gets recognized in google for backlinks or what is going on but it isn't indexed. Now I did complain and they are supposed to send the googlebot out but my question is does a PHP directory have a sitemap that everyone sees and if it doesnt should or could it? Is it necessary?

    I dont think that its necessary, i did have one in place but removed it.

    Yep on http://www.linkforever.net/pld_mods.php scroll down a bit and you can see the sitemap mod.
