sitemap for mysite

I have a site www.discountgiftstore.biz. PHP script actually zen cart. I have the site map for some reason google is not accepting it. What is the problem.

Does Google give you a specific error?

 

I can not see the sitemap.xml file in your site's root directory. Google and all SEs look there for the site map.

 

How did you create your sitemap? What tools did you use??

 

I use gSiteCrawler at: http://gsitecrawler.com/en/download/ It is free, works and does unlimited pages. Give them a link or donate to them. It is worth it.

Once you create the sitemap(S), you load them into the root directory of your site. Then use both Google and Yahoo's webmaster tools to submit (tell) them you have them ready. That's it.

Also, one nice think about Google's, is over time, they tell you how you are doing via the Webmaster tools application.

If you are serious about this, webmaster tools will help you (and your customers) greatly.

 

Which Format you are using is it in HTML or XML format some time google does not accept HTML for try XML format and submit it to google as I have done for my site http://www.laughbuster.com

 

You can search for free sitemap builder sites on the web and build a sitemap which is friendly to google. Prefer it in XML format for good result.

 

Try this mate http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and resubmit your sitemap to the root directory.

If Google does not accepted your site map then which error it is giving. To find mose common error read Google's guidelines regarding sitemap.
