I have searched this forum for the answer but didn't satisfied with it. So here is the question... Can I have a sitemap for my blog hosted on blogger? If yes, how can I do that? else, what are the other options. Thanks
ัYes go to google sitemaps verify you blog by addthe google code below <head> in html page when you add sitemaps Fill atom.axl and rss.xml (add both) instread sitemaps.xml
I don't know this for a fact, but i'm pretty sure a sitemap is not necessary for Blogger blogs.. Google owns it, you know they're going to get every page indexed..
I think the same. You don't need a sitemap webgk.com! But you can use atom feed as a sitemap. It's easy and no issues, google wemaster accepts it. And I can see you've already done that. Let us know howz that going?
blogger now automatically adds sitemaps to all blogspot blogs no need to do anything... i can show you the proof too
i've had pages crawled and indexed in less than 10 minutes on my blogger.com blog.. i cant remember the last time it took more than 1 hour to get a new post indexed.. and i dont have a sitemap submitted..
Guys! As i said there is NO NEED to add atom file as a sitemap. Google does it autmatically. You can check it for yourself. Open any web browser and type the following address : http://YourBlogName.blogspot.com/robots.txt (Replace YourBlogName with your blog name) In the text file that is displayed, you will see that Google is already using your blog's atom file as a sitemap!
I have was tried to set 2 blog one I submit sitemaps, the other is not. Finally I can not find anything different.
Thanks for the link. I'm not fully satisfied with the replies though. I am looking for - "does it make any difference for blogger?" Many says - YES it makes, and many says NO. If anybody has the clarity over it, please reply with your own examples, would be appreciated. Thanks a lot for your responses.
