Hi, I have a CMS driven website where it is difficult to add a sitemap.xml in the root directory of the website. The website home page opens like this: hxxp://www.abc.in/abc/abc/abc_ab/personal/homepage/index.html Now, I have added the sitemap file in the folder structure and we can get to see it only when we type hxxp://www.abc.in/abc/abc/abc_ab/personal/homepage/sitemap.xml. But when I submit this website in Google, it do not index all the pages from the website. I am really fed up with this damn thing and need to know what exactly I have to do to resolve this issue. Thanks, Mithil
@ spymobilephonesoftware, what do u mean by wrong...that is just a sample URL and not the original one... My domain has same structure as of the one mentioned here.
I am not sully sure I understand your question. But if I understand you correctly, you have: root domain htp://example.com but it redirects to htp://example.com/whateverdir/index.html And so most sitemappers only get what is below the "whatever" directory? But you also have pages at e.g. htp://example.com/someotherpage..html You can try this sitemap generator (newest version) It will handle what you describe correctly. Then just place the generated sitemap at htp://example.com/sitemap.xml
