As in the above title in one of my sites the google sitemap looks like this:
    Sitemap stats
    Total URLs: 49
    Indexed URLs: 31
Status of sitemap is OK, so why google doesn't index all submitted pages 49 but only 31?

Sometimes if content is similar searchengine donot index

Please check if the urls also are similar

    They need to be different

Google has its own algorithm to search and index pages whatever it deems fit. What we can do at the most is to get more number of pages included in the google but we can't force google to index all the submitted urls :)
