My Site just got site links under a Google search for Goodnight Moon Futon. Does anyone know how or why? Does this mean that my site has reached a certain size or that Google is trying to add more option for people to enter? Thanks for any info, Matt (Hey at least this isn't about PageRank!)
GunMuse, I'm not trying to drive traffic with this thread or sell anything with it, I just wanted opinions on the whole site link thing. -Matt
Anywhere from 200-300 visits a day, mostly from Google and a few other sites. Though, sometimes it's more, sometimes less. Matt
Why? - About a month ago they started implementing thousands if not millions of sitemaps for longtail terms like yours. We got sitelinks for our company name, and so did 99% of our clients: http://www.google.com/search?q=commonplaces How? - Because your site is goodnightmoonfuton.com which means that Google views it as the "authority" for that term.
Well, I just noticed them today. And no, I have not logged into webmaster tools to check them out yet. I am still excited though. Thanks for the info. Matt
It means your site is trusted in Google and a certain age old. Nothing more, nothing less. Eventually after a while all established sites will get SiteLinks
Congratulations on getting the sitelinks, google will add sitelinks to show that they trust your site and they believe you have great content on your subpages so they add extra links.
