    Wrong forum, but yes - assuming you're talking about for SEO. Backlinks can effectively improve your SERP, but PageRank has no effect.

    Yep, PR has no effect on SERP. Only high-quality backlinks help you climb at the top of the SEs.

    It's ok, yeah. PR is useless, so stick to getting quality backlinks, and submitting quality content.

    I do agree with that, sitelinks is the proof of quality site from Google, but the sitelinks is auto generated.

    Yes. It`s completly true. I have a great web directory with lots of dofollow links, listed well in Google pages and now it`s pr 0 from 3 and is better. ;)

    Page rank means very little these days. The green bar that is displayed does not reflect the true page rank that Google uses, which includes far more variables such as trust, website age etc.

    PR is one of factors with Google consider for ranking.
    But links of cource very important on you way to top.

    Yes sitelink is better than PR , we can find alot of sites with PR0 but it have sitelinks on google .
