Sorry for the newbie question but what is PR hijack. If it is happening for my blog than how can I remove it.
If you are really intrested in selling it, i would be intrested in buying. I have a realted network of 10 websites, it would fit nicely into my portfolio, thats why asking!!!
PR hijack is when a domain/sub-domain or a folder is redirected to another site via 302 redirect or I believe other redirects such as javascript might cause the same problem. The websites thats redirecting will then show the backlinks and be displayed in google as the directed-to website when putting the URL in.
I think it is not a problem at my end though not sure. If any site is redirecting to my domain on which I have no control then I am not sure how could I control that. I am going to sell it soon once the site update is complete. I am expecting minimum 2000 uniques per day within a month of the completion of site update. I am sure I would get higher price then.
Actually the redirect is from your site since your the 'hijacker' in this case. You have to be redirecting, not the person.
Thats abslouetely right, maybe its not in your notice if you are not doing website yourself. Did you hire somebody for SEO they might have done this. Send me a PM when you are intrested in selling this one.
I have checked all the possible combination of URLs on http://www.rexswain.com/cgi-bin/httpview.cgi . I am not able to find any redirects that could be pointing towords peltast website. I am sure it could have happened in the past as I have tried a lot of wordpress templates and the problem could have been raised by some of them. Could anyone tell me if rexswain site above is not able to show any problem, everything is alright and the site will have its original PR after next update.
