I currently have 2 sites that run off the same back end with slightly different functions and layout for the front pages. These sites are built on a bespoke CMS that is easy to use however lacks functionality that I require. I am looking to upgrade the sites in 3 phases. And I am also contemplating moving the CMS if this will provide me with a better platform going forward. In phase one this is what I am looking to achieve. Redesign of one of the homepages. The ability to switch from the static adverts to Google adsense Make the site more SEO friendly by being able to change page headers adding h1 tags and more meta features and increase the PR etc Add additional 2 or 3 templates for premium users to chose from on the page layouts. Make some minor changes to the existing template Add a crawler and a basic listing feature Possible CMS move. – Must retain all the functionality I currently have as well as see the benefits of moving to another CMS Paypal payments page Let me know your bid and time scales to complete this project by PM please.
Hi, A couple of other details that i have been asked to clarify. Preferrerd new CMS would be joomla or drupal. we have an outline running on joomla here demo.greatfoodplaces.com. The crawler will add basic listings details venue name, address and telephone number. from various sources. Paypal payments page will just be a button. we do not need a full shopping cart.
